UPDATE: Went back for the Szarlotka Breakfast (9zł for an espresso drink – Cappuccino, Espresso macchiato, Latte macchiato, etc. – with a slice of their apple cake) before 12pm on weekdays and it was lovely. I mean, I love cinnamon and they doused the square slice in it. Not the best apple cake I’ve ever had (by far), but I’ll take it. It was very light and not too sweet, so it really may be a pleasant breakfast. The cappuccino was super foamy (I’m down with that) and it was especially fine due to the nice size.

UPDATE: Was back the next day lol. My friend adored this place and it brought back memories from when she lived in Kraków, so we ended up favoring this place. What’s more, I got Charlotte’s Breakfast (aka, the bread basket). For 16zł, it comes with any coffee drink (that includes espresso) and two of your choice of homemade preserves and Charlotte chocolate. It’s advertised as for 1 person, but can easily be split between two. As for the Cappuccino that I got, it was velvety with an equally pleasing taste. I also picked up a cup of black coffee (they call in breakfast coffee) for 7zł. It was good too, nothing special. However, it was a necessary addition in order to finish off my 6 hours there (and that bread, all that bread…)
