J B Peel Coffee & Tea

UPDATE 10/21/22: I wanted a round 2. This time, I ordered the Woodstock Blend: “Delicious combination of Guatemalan, Colombian and Costa Rican beans.” It was a little fruitier than the Red Hook Blend. However, the flavor was still somehow exhausted, churning out a drink that really wasn’t all that enjoyable. At 12:20, the coffee was just slightly hotter than room temperature. The cup also leaked…again.

Leaving behind the coffee for a moment, I overheard that they also don’t have hot water for tea. You can buy it dry, but you’ll have to brew it at home. I felt so bad for this woman who just wanted hot tea. I guess it’s something good to know though? I also caught wind of a woman asking about how to gring for Aeropress. Not going to lie, this inquiry in a self-proclaimed village (Red Hook Village) delighted my heart.
