UPDATE: I went back. I had to try one of their ice cream works of art (see below). I got the Czekoladowa Pokusa (Chocolate Temptation). Costing 24zł, it contained the following: hot chocolate, 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, walnuts, chopped peanuts, and what I’ve come to decree are chocolate twigs. I want to also mention, it looked exactly as it was depicted in the Desserts Card. Not a echo of it’s picture’s glory or just a lazily strung together version of the ingredients listed. Now, how it tasted. The chocolate ice cream was so rich. It almost tasted like it was fudge turned ice cream rather than ice cream turned chocolate. The jury is still out as to whether the walnuts help reign in the richness or if it just adds to it. But, one thing is certain – it gives a contrasting flavor and texture that is undoubtedly necessary. Personally, finding full walnut pieces made be happy. It may not be for everyone. On the whole, it beat me. I have never been beaten by dessert, but by the fifth bite of this, I couldn’t eat anymore. Maybe it was because my sugar bar was very low from the past week’s apples and honey dessert regimen (religious purposes, I swear). However, an hour and a half and 0.75L of water later, I still hadn’t finished. They were closing. I had to take what was left – some whip cream, ice cream, hot chocolate mix – home with me. I was proud of this confection. I was only disheartened by my reduced sugar threshold. That can’t make me suggest against it. It only makes me suggest you indulge in it with a buddy.
