Taino’s

UPDATE 5/14/22: I could no longer live with myself. I went back for the pizza empanadilla ($2.29), even called in advance to make sure they still had them. They did.

On another note, their telephone system is on point. Juggling English and Spanish, it gets you seamlessly to any store, and someone who speaks English actually picks up. I was mighty impressed.

Anyways—that pizza empanadilla. It smelled amazing. To boot, it tasted amazing too. It’s like a freshly deep-fried calzone. Piping hot and spilling cheese, it fulfilled its pizza duties. I’d get it again and do exactly what I did this time: bring vegetables to sprinkle on between each bite. If you’re looking for an inexpensive hot lunch, this is it. My dinner rather in this instance, the call was still very good. I’m so glad.
